Soar into the wedding of Stephanie and Matt at the stunning Disney Wedding Pavilion.
Matt: The reception and being able to celebrate with all of our loved ones.
Steph: Aside from marrying Matt, the Fireworks Dessert Party at the end of the night since it was the first night of Luminous at Epcot!
Matt: That Steph was beautiful and that I loved her and was very happy at that moment.
Steph: I was honestly relieved when I first saw Matt that day. Seeing him made everything real and put everything into perspective that we were getting married and the time was here. I wasn’t nervous or anxious when I first saw him, just excited and ready to start our lives together.
Matt: The dessert party, definitely. It was a good way to end the night and the fireworks ended up being amazing, especially the view.
Steph: It’s honestly a toss-up between Minnie and Mickey surprising our guests and the fireworks that night! I loved seeing the expressions on everyone’s faces when the pair walked in, and the joy on the kid’s faces especially when they got one-on-one time with the characters. I also really loved the fireworks dessert party at Epcot that night. It was such a fun experience with our loved ones, even if it was a little chilly out! But I love fireworks and it was such a fun way to end the day!
We wanted to incorporate little elements of both holidays and the parks without being too over the-top with it. Steph really loved leaning into “Happily Ever After” without being too princess-y (it was even written on the bottom of her shoes!), and we both wanted to incorporate our love for the parks in little subtle ways where we could! As for the holidays, we leaned into it with our wedding colors and a little bit with our decor. We also gave our Christmas tree ornaments as our favors with holiday flavored chocolates!
Matt walked down to the “Master’s Theme Song” (yes, the golf championship) and Steph walked down to, “A Whole New World” from Aladdin!
Out first dance was to “Steal the Show,” by Lauv. It’s from the Disney/Pixar movie Elemental. We didn’t set out to choose a Disney song on purpose, but it was one song we both really love and listen to a lot since we have heard it (and the movie is also SO good!). Steph didn’t want something too slow, while Matt didn’t want something too fast, and we found this song to be the perfect mix of what we each wanted!
Of the two of us? Definitely Matt! But if we had to choose a guest, definitely Matt’s parents’ friend, Mike! He danced to pretty much every song and even engaged in a pushup contest at one point! The DJ definitely knew who he was by the end of the reception!
At the end of the day, we were actually talking with some friends and family on the way out of Epcot after riding Soarin’, and we both couldn’t believe how surreal the entire day was. Everyone had a ton of fun, which was honestly our goal when planning the wedding. We really wanted to show our guests the reasons why we love Disney World. The food, the experiences, the rides, etc. We were amazed at how well everything went and how calm we both were throughout the day, and we were really just happy that our guests enjoyed themselves and we were able to share some of our favorite things with our favorite people.
As a married couple, we are both definitely looking forward to traveling and moving forward with our lives together in terms of getting a house and starting a family.
It’s sometimes the little surprising moments that end up being the most memorable. We still remember taking photos in the Wedding Pavilion and being surprised with fireworks going off at Magic Kingdom for their castle show (someone asked if it was photo shopped in our video since it was such perfect timing). We also surprised our guests with Minnie and Mickey at our reception and they were a huge hit! Seeing our loved ones dancing and having fun with Minnie and Mickey really showed us how much everyone was enjoying themselves and truly made our day so special and memorable for everyone.

Review:
We used Claire and Rob for our wedding at Disney Wedding Pavilion, and they are amazing at what they do and as people. The two work so well together and their energy is definitely contagious. I honestly believe that they are part of the reason we were so calm and relaxed during our wedding. We are obsessed with all the photos. I am amazed by the joy and fun they were able to capture, and the moments they were able to photograph that we didn’t even realize or remember happened. Claire and Rob left such a good impression on us and our guests, and I will forever recommend them to anyone looking for photographers.
